Our members are interested in developing embedded systems technologies and marketing smart products to global supply chains. The activities span the complete product life cycle of embedded systems development and deployment. NICTA has entered into a relationship with Cadence that allows NICTA to offer their software to certain Australian companies at a significantly reduced price. There are some limitations; the company has to be a new Cadence customer, must be using the tools for their own designs (i.e. not a contract designer) and has to be below a certain size.

The TruckOn proof of concept project was recently completed by a team of ESA partners. We demonstrated how over-height vehicles could be detected and prevented from colliding with overhead infrastructure such as tunnels, overpasses and enclosed bridges. |
