Forge Holdings

Forge was established in 1995 and has grown to be a group of companies under the umbrella of Forge Holdings. The Forge group provides software systems for the management and control of widely distributed telecommunications and sensor networks and systems for business and location intelligence. Forge has built an international reputation for the creation and incubation of new product technologies. As a close group of companies, a depth of skills, managerial and technical, can be brought to bear on system design and implementation.

At first look Forge may appear to be operating in very divergent business areas but in fact there is considerate synergy between the world of distributed systems and business intelligence. Very few enterprises are immune to the effects of the Internet and the demands of global business which begs for component software architectures that enable an entity to control use of its electronic facilities irrespective of the location or point of entry of the client, known or not. Since its conception, the group has progressed in terms of people and systems to the point where the individual companies have sufficient momentum to stand alone (should investors have an appetite for just one section of the business) or the group can continue operating within its set of relationships.
