2009-10-29-30 NSW: Science EXPOsed
Science EXPOsed is a free event for years 8 and 9 students in NSW to explore the latest in science and technology and learn more about careers in science. In 2008, 1800 students from 55 schools participated and we expect even more students this year.
Science EXPOsed comprises an expo containing 20+ booths at the EXPO, several interactive workshops, panel discussions and shows which run throughout three days. The event offers students an opportunity to meet representatives from various science-related organisations, industry and the public sector, and is a forum for students to consider the opportunities for a career in science.
In 2009 the event will be held at historic venues in Sydney's CBD District - Parliament House, The Mint, Hyde Park Barracks, the Australian Museum and The Powerhouse Museum.
